SSF has been selected to compete in the UFC and Strikeforce multiple times each since opening a little over five years ago.

In the past year SSF had fighters on shows in Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Louisiana, East, Middle, and West Tennessee. In addition to two UFC appearances owner and head MMA trainer, Ron Dayley, has also cornered SSF fighters at Strikeforce on two occasions, the most recent being Steven Durr who won his bout in the 1st round with an impressive triangle submission. Mr. Dayley is the only person in the Nashville area to work as an official for the UFC.
