SSF Submission Academy is the leading MMA, BJJ, Boxing, Muay Thai and Wrestling school in Clarksville TN. We have placed fighters in the UFC, Pride, Strikeforce, Dreams, K-1, XFC, Bellator and many other top level Pro shows. We are the home to two 2012 Olympic Qualifiers in Boxing. And a USMTA World Kick Boxing Champion.
SSF has had fighters compete in the UFC, Strikeforce and XFC multiple times each since opening a little over six years ago. We currently have XFC and Bellator fighters training out of our Clarksville location. SSF is the only Pro Level MMA gym in Clarksville TN.
SSF has built our reputation on our willingness to fight anywhere. We fight out of state more then just about any other team in Tennessee. We believe you are only as good as your last opponent.
In the past year SSF had fighters on shows in Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Louisiana, East, Middle, and West Tennessee, Canada, FL, OK, HI, WI, CA, NV, NE and Germany. In addition to two UFC appearances owner and head MMA trainer, Ron Dayley, has also cornered SSF fighters at Strikeforce on three occasions, the most recent being Steven Durr who won his bout in the 1st round with an impressive triangle submission. Mr. Dayley is the only person in the Nashville area to work as an official for the UFC.
